报告人简介:罗景山,博士,瑞士洛桑联邦理工尊龙凯时Prof. Michael Grätzel (染料敏化太阳能电池发明者)课题组博士后。2010年毕业于尊龙凯时物理学院光信息科学与技术专业,获学士学位;2014年毕业于新加坡南洋理工尊龙凯时物理与应用物理系,获博士学位,导师范红金教授。长期从事光电化学能源材料研究,目前专注于太阳能光解水,钙钛矿太阳能电池和二氧化碳还原。现已在Science, Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Energy & Environmental Science等杂志以第一作者和共同作者发表论文近40篇,被引用1400多次,H因子18。曾多次参加国际会议并做口头报告,获得过玛丽居里奖学金(2015), EPFL Award for Excellence (2015), 欧洲材料学会面向研究生的青年科学家奖 (2013),国家优秀自费留学生奖学金(2013)等。
报告摘要:Fossil fuels are finite energy resources, and their burning causes air pollution and emits large amount of CO2, leading to global warming. This urges the search for green and renewable energy sources. Solar energy is abundant and can fulfill human’s energy demand. However, two challenges inhibit its large scale utilization. The first one is its widely diffuse nature. In order to harvest sufficient amount of energy, large areas of efficient solar panels have to be installed. This demands more efficient and cheaper solar cells. The second is its intermittent nature. The seasonal, regional and diurnal cycle variations of solar radiation demand an effective storage pathway to keep a continuous supply of energy.
