内容简介:We provide an outline of how an editor forms their decisions around the desk rejection process. We outline the main issues which cause papers to be desk rejected in partocular in relation to hot topics such as covid, and previously in relation to the GFC and cryptocurrencies. The various roles of editors are discussed and we suggest how to pitch papers.

报告人简介:Professor Lucey has worked as a statistician in the Department of Health and as an Economist in the Central Bank, prior to joining Trinity College Dublin. He has been at Trinity Business School, Trinity College, since 1992 where he is now Professor of International Finance and Commodities. He has studied at the graduate level in Canada, Ireland and Scotland, and holds a PhD from the University of Stirling. He has published in excess of 150 papers in areas of international, behavioural, and commodity finance. He was the founding editor of theJournal of Behavioral and Experimental Financeand currently serves as the editor of theInternational Review of Economics and Financeand editor in chief of theInternational Review of Financial Analysis. Previously he has been editor in chief of three other journals.
